Crew-3 Dragon is set to be the third crew-rotation mission launched to the International Space Station by SpaceX on behalf of NASA.
Aboard will be NASA astronauts Raja Chari, Tom Marshburn and Kayla Barron, and European Space Agency astronaut Matthias Maurer. They are slated to remain aboard the ISS for about six months.
Liftoff is currently scheduled for early November 2021. The crew will launch atop a Falcon 9 rocket with a previously-used first stage, core B1067-2.
The capsule being used is Crew Dragon Endurance, which was named by the Crew-3 astronauts as they are the first to fly in the spacecraft.
Once in orbit, it’ll take about a day to reach the outpost, docking with the forward port of the Harmony module.
